What is the Investment Research and Asset Management Immersion
The Investment Research and Asset Management (IRAM) Immersion
Work on a real hedge fund and learn firsthand how finance is practiced on Wall Street with this hands-on immersion.
Overview
Students enrolled in the IRAM immersion, formerly known as capital markets and asset management (CMAM) immersion, acquire critical financial modeling knowledge, analytical tools, and unique hands-on experiences that set them up for success. Prior to setting foot on campus, students dive right in with a summer prep course in equity research, followed by an August stock-pitch boot camp, and a September alumni-mentored stock-pitch weekend. In addition, students work alongside second-year MBA portfolio managers on the Cayuga MBA Fund in this intensive immersion.
